Fun Indoor Activities

Brr...It's cold out there!

Winter time does not mean you need to stay cooped up indoors. While the temperatures drop to below freezing levels, you can find various fun-filled indoor activities around the city to enjoy with your children.

Cité des science & de l'industrie (Metro 7 to Porte de la Villette or Coretin Cariou) has activities for children that parents will also enjoy! Admission fees vary depending on what you're in the mood for.
Have a preschooler? Cité des enfants allows preschoolers and younger children (ages 2-7) the chance to explore the world on their level. Admission for children ages 2-7 is 6€ and includes admission to a 3D movie.

Discover life under the sea at Cinéqua (Metro 6 or 9 to Trocadéro or the 9 to Lena). Admission is pretty high (19.90€ for adults), but they do offer an annual pass for 59€ for adults- so if you think you will visit more than twice this year- the annual pass may be a wiser choice. Plus, it's right across from the Eiffel Tower.

No Place Like Home

For days when going outside is not an option, turning your living room or child's bedroom into an art studio is a great way to get their little creative juices flowing while the temp outside is dipping. Be sure to have construction paper, crayons, and other supplies your budding artist needs. Basic supplies can be found at most markets. Why not make a home made Valentine's Day card?
